Listen to a Brazilian version of Basement Jaxx's 'Mermaid of Salinas'

In order to commemorate the 2014 FIFA World Cup - currently being held in Brazil - Basement Jaxx have released an alternative version of one of their latest tracks, "Mermaid of Salinas", taken from their forthcoming seventh studio album Junto. Now sung in Portuguese by singer Nina Miranda, this take bears the title "Sereia de Bahia" and is accompanied by a typically wacky music video (as you'd expect from the duo), directed by Spanish director Alan Masferrer.
